Family and Relationship Life

 Family is the most beautiful thing one can get. Everyone has someone whom he/she loves more than himself/herself. Everyone is a good person to someone. Even your enemy is a good person to someone. As I say, your life will be happy if you think it is happy.

I don’t fight with any person, even if it’s his/her mistake. I think of them as a person from my family. I give a smile and move on. I am not the richest person neither do I have any special talent but I can assure you that I am happier than many rich and famous people.

My family consists of my mom, dad, sister, sister’s husband, little nephew, many uncles, aunts, cousins and most importantly me.

They are not the only people I have in my family. I have many people whom I call as my brothers and sisters. That feels good as it makes me feel that everyone around me is my family. Also, I treat the parents of my friends, other brothers and sisters as my own parents. I feel like the happiest person on this planet who is surrounded by a big family.

If you want to be a part of my family, then I will be happy to welcome you to my family. I don’t care about you color, region or age. I don’t care whether you are rich or poor. All I want is a true person to be a part of my family.

My life is happy even though I don’t have a family of my kind. Each and everyone in my family are different. None of us have a similar likes but we all live together, love each other and most importantly sacrifice our interest for others whenever possible.

Sacrifice is the most important part of a family life. The happiest movement of my life is to see my family happier and if I don’t mind I if need to sacrifice my happiness for it. Helping each and everyone in my family makes me happy.

I try to help my mom in kitchen whenever possible and help my dad with his works. Well I never helped my sister much. We always used to fight with each other until her marriage (but she always cared for me). But now I really miss her, her husband and her beautiful son as they live in another city. And I missed all of them for four long years when I was in college. But now I am happy because I live with my parents from the past 6 months since my graduation. You can call me anything as I am 24 years old and living with parents, but I am happier than others of my age.

Once again, I would love to welcome anyone who wants to be a part of my family.

Famly behind every successful nation

I don’t know about how many successful people have family as the reason for their successful life. But a country with good families will be on top in the world. We don’t give importance to our family. It is the important reason for the fallout of our country. It may look illogical but it’s true. All the countries where people have good family life have successful life. By success I don’t mean to earn money and become the richest person in the world. Even if you were rich, you are a failure if you lose your money in the recession.

During 2007-08, when the entire world was under recession, there were some countries which were less affected. If you check them, you will realize that the family and cultural habits were the main reason for their country to survive the recession. I have been in many countries and lived with many families in all the countries. I realized that our country and families are missing many things in which they are perfect. Quite frankly we are missing the family itself. High divorce rate, single parenting, remarriages etc is high in our country. I mean come on what’s happening in our country.

They live a perfect family life. I have seen many extended families in some countries. I was surprised to see that people still live in extended family and in some places I was offered to spend some time with their families and be a part of the family for few days. Believe me or not, it was an awesome experience to live in an extended family. Can you imagine yourself living in an extended family where you can see everyone every day? They all love and care for each other. Another important thing I liked in some places is that people call outside people (other than their family) with some relationship like if people are of your parents age they call them uncle and aunt and if people are of your age then they call as brother and sister. This thing not only makes a strong family but also builds a strong society and strong nation.

We Americans aren’t close to our family. Many of us hardly meet our family once in a year. I don’t know how many of you go to family reunion. Those things are rare nowadays. People don’t get time to meet their family. We need to change a lot.

Failure: A good teacher

It may be a game. But many of us have the same situation in real

You can’t live a perfect life. Trust me; you will hate your life if it’s perfect. A perfect life will be boring. If you win throughout your life, then a small failure can collapse you totally. But for people who failed don’t care about it. But the truth is everyone fail somewhere in their life. Failure teaches a lot of things.

 Every famous person on earth has failed in something. The difference between them and rest of the people is that, they realized their failure, understood where they were wrong, consider it as an experience and continue their work. But others get disappointed and feel that they aren’t the best and they can’t do it.

There are people who failed several times in their life but never gave up and proved that they are the best. Everyone got the same stuff in their head, the only think matters is how you use it. Think differently, you can change your life.

Learn from your mistakes. Try again and again to achieve success in your life. Check out the history, all the great people you know learned from their mistakes. Read the biography of any person you like. You will realize no one on earth has succeeded in everything they tried in the very first time.

The first thing you need to do when you fail is to think where you have done a mistake and start it again. It’s impossible to live a life without failing. Many people, who pretend as if they never failed, are just creating an impression in the public that they never faced the failure. But the truth is they did.

If you want to win big, you must fail. And remember, never ever give up. Millions of people try achieving a task but all fails. Only few people try again and win. Now it’s up to you. Do you want to be one in a million or one among the million?  

Money is not everything

People work hard to make money. But at last they forget the main purpose for which they make money. People work in office, in home and even on the way from office to home. At first people start making money to enjoy their life but later we forget to enjoy our life and get busy in making money.

There are many things we missed in our life because we are so busy in making money. How many of us spend at least 10 hours a week with our family. For some people spending 10 hours is impossible and some of them consider it to be waste of time.

People work 24 hours and a day 7 days a week to earn thousands of dollars. We Americans neither save the money nor we spent it properly. That’s another main reason for the current position of our country. Money isn’t everything in life. It can’t give you everything.

Some of us worry a lot for money. It’s just a piece of paper created by our ancestors to ease our work. But now it’s ruling the world. Life will be good until we control the money. But life will be worse if money controls the people. Sometimes I feel that we don’t own money but the money owns us.

The worst part of it is that it makes many people feel that life is nothing without it. I don’t understand why people commit suicide because they don’t have money. Many people committed suicide for bankruptcy.

Remember that human lived for thousands of without money and humans are using money only from few centuries. There are billions of other creatures (other than human beings) in the world living now without money and we are humans, we are intelligent creatures. We can live without it too.

I don’t say that money is nothing; I just say that money is not everything. It’s just a part of our normal life. It’s an important thing in our life. But we can live without it.I too spend a lot of time and work hard to make money but I spend more time with my family and in enjoying my time.

Couple Married for 72 years dies holding hands

A couple  who was married for 72 long years died last week holding each others hands. Gordon, 94 and Norma Yeager, 90 lived a perfect life together. The best love story I ever heard. I read and saw many stories and movies about true love but those were fictional but this is for real. We should learn something from them.

They did everything together. "They just loved being together. Everybody argues once in awhile, but they still, he said 'I have to stick around. I can't go until she does because I have to stay here for her and she would say the same thing,'" said Dennis Yeager, younger son of the couple.


Dennis Yeager said the couple left home last Wednesday to go into town, but they didn't make it.

At the intersection of Highway 30 and Jessup Avenue just west of Marshalltown, state troopers said Gordon pulled in front of an oncoming car. The Iowa State Patrol crash report said the other driver attempted to avoid the crash but was unable to stop in time.

"I rushed from Des Moines where I was working and saw them in the hospital," said Dennis Yeager.

 In the intensive care unit of Marshalltown's hospital, nurses knew not to separate Gordon and Norma.

"They brought them in the same room in intensive care and put them together -- and they were holding hands in ICU. They were not really responsive," said Dennis Yeager.

Gordon died at 3:38 p.m. holding hands with his wife as the family they built surrounded them.

"It was really strange, they were holding hands, and dad stopped breathing but I couldn't figure out what was going on because the heart monitor was still going," said Dennis Yeager. "But we were like, he isn't breathing. How does he still have a heart beat? The nurse checked and said that's because they were holding hands and it's going through them. Her heart was beating through him and picking it up."

"They were still getting her heartbeat through him," said Donna Sheets.

At 4:38 p.m., exactly one hour after Gordon died, Norma passed too.

"Neither one of them would've wanted to be without each other. I couldn't figure out how it was going to work," said Donna Sheets. "We were very blessed, honestly, that they went this way."

"They just loved being together," said Dennis Yeager.

At their funeral on Monday, Norma and Gordon held hands in their casket. Family said they will be cremated and their ashes mixed together.

Its unbelievable for many of us but its true. 72 years is a long period. This is a perfect example for anyone who wants to live a happy and perfect life. Its not a sad ending. Its the best end one can ever have.

New businesses can save America

Our country is facing many problems now like recession and unemployment. Starting new businesses can solve these problems. Any kind of legal business from small to large. But the important point to note is that you should hire our people. Don’t hire foreigners. I am not an anti-immigrant. But I want American companies to give preference to Americans. Many companies hire foreigners as they are ready to work with less salary. It can cost you less but its not good for our country.

We got thousands of unemployed people and that’s not good for our country. America is losing its status in the world. Its no more a super power nation as we think. The world don’t respect in the same way as they used to respect us decades ago.

 Its an advice for people who are looking for new jobs to start a new business instead of looking for job. I don’t know whether you get a job of your talent or not but you can create new job opportunities to other people. Use your creativity and come up with some new idea for a new business. Not everyone is a Bill Gates, Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg. But everyone has the same brain. The only difference is that they used it and we didn’t.

Think hard, who knows you may be talented enough to change the entire world. Don’t waste your important time. Think creatively, no matter which field you are in. We are the descendants of the same people who made America as the superpower of the world. We have the same power and talent. Prove yourself to be better than new immigrants.

It doesn’t mean to fight with or hurt the new immigrants. I mean prove the world (and especially to the new immigrants) that we are talented then them. There are plenty of things to achieve. A little thinking can change your life.

Education: going away from in America

Can you believe that the literacy rate of our nation's capital is less than the literacy rate of a developing country's average city? Take any city randomly and compare it with Washington DC. You will know our position in the world. One third of the population in Washington DC is illiterate.

We have the same problem in every state.  Only one fourth of the population has a college degree. Most of them are students from foreign countries. Even most of our colleges prefer foreign students. They go around the world in search of students as if we don’t have people in our country. Why don’t they search within the US? We got more than 300 million people in our country. But we can’t blame the colleges and universities. The problem is not in them, the problem is in us. We don’t give importance to our studies. We allow foreigners to overtake us. They come here to get education. Some of them get back to their country and some of them get a job and work here as our boss. Education is important for any individual as well as the country.

We also lack in understanding mathematics and science compared to others around the world. This is a problem of our education system. We need a change in the education system. That can be done by government. We need to learn a lot from other countries as well. I have been to 32 countries and learned many things, in which we are lacking in.

The parents have the duty to educate their children. Don't blame the government for everything. And don't allow children's to decide everything on their own. They should be the decision maker for their life but you should help them in deciding the right thing for their life. Tell them the pro and cons of every step.

We are proud of many organizations in our country as we got organizations leading the world. From business organizations like Microsoft, IBM etc to other organizations like NASA. But do you know that most of the people in all those organizations are from foreign countries.

Another reason for these problems is that we give more importance for entertainment and don’t care about our future. But the last recession cleared its importance. Think about yourself and your future. Take some time to think. Thinking doesn't mean to think while watching TV or while working somewhere. It means be free and alone. You can do it in your room or go to any park, sit and start thinking in fresh air.


We Americans are losing many things in which others are becoming masters. I hope to build a better America.

Brother and Sister

Many people don’t give importance to their brothers and sisters. They don’t respect them and don’t mingle with them. I see many people who even don’t care about them.

Everyone fight with his/her brother and sister. Even I fight with my sister. But that’s the best part of the relationship. But it shouldn’t be taken seriously. We both fight everyday but we also care about each other a lot. 

I’ve seen many people who don’t like to stay with their siblings and wait for the time either of them will get out. No one gets the brother or sister similar to him/her. But that’s what family is all about. Its you who should change your brother or sister to how you want or change yourself to how your bro or sis wants.  In my family we both sacrificed a lot of each other. I still remembered how much my sister sacrificed for me. Even though we care for each other, we never shown. We fought everyday for more than 18 years. I saddest movement was my sister’s marriage 3 years ago because she left to live in another city with her husband far from us. But still we talk everyday and meet at least once in a month. 

I don’t say that my sister is my best friend because for me brother-sister relationship is bigger than friendship. Some of my friends do the same. They fight with their siblings (every family has this problem). But I don’t know how many of them realize their love towards their siblings later.

Divorce: A problem in our life

In most of the divorce cases, the basic reason they say is that, I don’t like him, his behavior and character. We all marry the person we loved. We are not like people from the eastern countries where marriages are arranged by their parents and relatives. We have the option to select the best person for our self, but still we have fight with the person we selected as the most suitable guy in our life.
                              
It’s because of the wrong selection or maybe because you are tired of your sex life and are in need of another sex partner. Sometimes I feel like we really are more sex oriented people. People give importance to sex then to their family. They don't care about their children. Have you ever thought about children’s before splitting up?

 I’ve been to many eastern countries where they have better marriage life then us. They live a good life together even in arranged marriages. They make fun of our culture. Several times I had debate with people. I know that I am wrong but it’s my duty to defend for our country and our culture. Even I fought with some people.

Once you are married to a person, you have to take care of your life partner in any condition. In any case whether he/she is mentally ill, physically affected or doing something wrong, it’s your responsibility to help him/her.

I am not a religious person, but in this case I prefer to follow what the religion says. You can’t forget the promise you made in your wedding. It’s you who selected your life partner. The best idea to avoid such problems is by selecting the best person for you.

You don’t have to spend months in deciding whether a person is right for you or not. You can decide it within a couple of minutes. There are plenty of ways to find about a person.  I will write in another post about how to know about a person in the first sight. Girls don't like good guys

It’s true that many girls don't like good guys. For them guys should be a smoker, fighter, six pack and beautiful guy with a lot of money. Girls don't care about the character of a guy. They think that good guys are not brave. Many guys get all those habits like smoking, drinking etc to attract girls. Girls never consider a good guy. They feel shame to have a good boyfriend. I've seen a lot of girls who consider good guys boring.

Another truth is that most of the girls have boyfriend only to have sex (I admit that many guys too have girlfriends for the same reason). But there is life beyond sex. Love is not all about sex. It’s something beyond that. How many of you are still virgin? How many of you had decided to be virgin until marriage but later changed your mind? It clearly shows your mindset towards love. It’s not love. What we are doing cannot be compared to love.

I don’t know why they always like a guy’s physical appearance then their talent. Why they dump good guys. I’ve seen many guys who were good in studies and used to behave well in public, but changed their attitude and character only to impress girls.
